Avril Lavigne is a Canadian singer of pop-punk, designer of a clothing line and actress.
Avril stormed the charts in 2002 with his first successful album Let Go , which to date has sold 18 million copies worldwide and more 6.5 million in the United States. Their first album also is among the 100 best-selling albums in history.
His second and third albums, Under My Skin and The Best Damn Thing, reached the top positions around the globe. Avril has had five number one hits worldwide, including "Complicated" "Sk8er Boi", "I'm With You", "My Happy Ending" and "Girlfriend", the latter reached number one on Billboard Hot 100 U.S. together. Lavigne is currently working on her new album, due out in early 2010. To date has sold over 35 million albums worldwide.
